Leaving the pump running

Do I leave the pump on all the time?

Yes, the basic system will continually run when connected to power.
You can add a timer to the system to control the amount of water the plants receive. The plants may need different amounts of water depending on the temperature and the size of the plant. For example, when it is hot, a very large head of lettuce compared to a small seedling will need the water to
run more frequently.
Specifications for the pump.
  1. 3 prong grounded plug
  2. Power consumption  18 Watts
  3. Pump has an auto cut-off feature if it gets too hot.
Warnings!
Pump needs to be connected to a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter)
