No netpost for hydroponics!

Do I need netpots for the GrowMesh Sleeve?

No, the sleeve is designed to work on its own. You do not need soil, netpots, or any other media. We do ship plugs with the system, but they are only necessary to prevent the seed from getting lost in the bottom of the pocket. If the seed is large enough, you can plant it directly in the sleeve.

The sleeve design includes all of the features that netpots provide, such as:

  • Support for larger plants: The sleeve is strong enough to support even the largest plants.
  • Prevention of root rot: The sleeve design allows for good air circulation and drainage, which helps to prevent root rot.
  • Ease of transplanting: The sleeve is easy to transplant plants to.

If you are considering using the GrowMesh Sleeve, you do not need to use netpots. The sleeve design includes all of the features that netpots provide.

If the plug seems too small for the pocket, it may need to be presoaked. The plug is like a sponge and will grow in size when soaked in water.
